Due to the conditions of our licence since refurbishment
in 1996/7 and constant monitoring by local Police relating to the presence
of children on licensed premises such as ours with a ‘Open Bar’,
we
hope you will be a part of our club as a family but obviously wherever
children are present, unlike other clubs we have certain rules that must
apply, not only for their safety but for the safety of others and legal
requirements laid down by the licensing laws and Health and Safety
legislation.
|
|
With this in
mind the rules listed below must be adhered to at all times.
|
| 1. NO person under the age of 18
will be allowed entry into the Club unless accompanied by an adult.
|
| 2. Under NO circumstances is any
child to approach the bar to purchase any alcoholic or soft drinks,
crisps, bar snacks or even to obtain change.
|
| 3. ALL CHILDREN under the age of 8 years old MUST be
accompanied to the toilets by an adult.
|
| 4. Children MUST NOT be left unattended nor be allowed to move
around the Club un-accompanied. Parents are to ensure that any children
in their care MUST
remain seated. This will comply with Health and Safety regulations
and licensing laws relating to children on licensed premises.
|
| 5. NO child is to drink any alcoholic beverage.
|
| 6. Children are NOT ALLOWED in the "Trophy Room".
|
| 7. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are children allowed to play the
fruit or ticket machines for amusement or financial gain.
|
|
The above listed rules must be adhered to at all times
and failure to abide will result in possible membership withdrawal. Any
Executive Committee member having cause to bring these important safety
and licensing rules to the notice of any parents and in doing so
receives either a negative or hostile response will refer the incident to the Club Secretary /
Licensee who will then deal with the matter in accordance with the club
rules.
